Dr. Jeralyn Brossfield
Jeralyn Brossfield, MD, is a Functional Medicine Specialist in Rancho Mirage, CA, and has over 26 years of experience in the medical field.
Dr. Brossfield’s interest in medicine began as a child of missionary parents in Sudan. She pursued medical training at Loma Linda University. Their motto, “To Make Man Whole,” resonated with her personal mission of providing holistic, comprehensive care. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, which ranks sixth nationally and first in California.
After moving to the Coachella Valley in 2002, Dr. Brossfield became known as a doctor who listens and partners with her patients to achieve total wellness. The needs of her patients led Dr. Brossfield to pursue further support for sustainable lifestyle transformation by blending integrative and Western medicine.
In 2013, she was asked to direct Eisenhower Medical Center’s Wellness Institute and created an award-winning employee health program, as well as an Executive Health program based on a Functional Medicine approach.
Dr Brossfield is a phenomenal physician!! Her reputation is well deserved as she is one of the best in the industry. In January 2018, Dr. Brossfield launched XO Health, a private functional medicine practice in Rancho Mirage.
Combining relationship-based care with an integrative perspective, she promotes wellness in her community through accessible, relevant support of each person’s wholeness of mind, body, and spirit.
Her areas of expertise include Healing the Gut, Balancing Hormones, and Optimizing Brain function as a certified provider of the Bredesen Protocol for dementia prevention.
The addition of the BrainCare Performance Center in 2019 has allowed Dr. Brossfield to offer Magnetic Resonance Therapy, or MeRT®, as an adjunctive treatment to improve brain function.
Addressing insomnia, anxiety, autism, depression, traumatic brain injury, and memory loss , these treatments can provide lasting restoration of function.
Through personalized, whole-person care at both XO Health and the BrainCare Performance Center, Dr. Brossfield provides a team-based approach to support each person’s optimal health so they may lead an extraordinary life.
